The Benefits of

The Wet Nose Society

Benefits of Walking

Exercise is good for us all and especially great for our four-legged companions. When you are away from home, our TWNS Pet Sitters will ensure that your dogs are provided quality walks, playtime and attention!

There are numerous health and social benefits provided to your dog by regular walks. These health benefits include keeping your pet healthy, agile, and limber as well as maintaining their weight and helping with their digestive system.

Regular walks help reduce or eliminate any of your dog’s destructive chewing, digging, or scratching. Outdoor activity will alleviate extra energy your pet may have, calming your four-legged companion down and reducing any hyperactivity, excitability, and even nighttime activity allowing for a more relaxed and sleepy pup rather than restless one.

Walking helps strengthen the bond between your dogs and humans providing a trusting relationship. If you have a timid or fearful dog, regular walks can help build confidence and trust. You will likely be exposing your pet to other humans and animals alike, and with a human there for comfort your pet can learn to be comfortable around them.

Not only will the TWNS Pet Sitters take excellent care of your pets, we include taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, rotating lights and adjusting the blinds during each visit if requested. When your pet is at a boarding facility, there is no one checking in on your home while you’re away at work, play or vacation.
